N-able wins CRN Tech Innovator Award for managed IT services automation

Managed IT services pioneer wins Tech Innovator Award two years in a row; earns high marks for MSP service automation advancements, IT services growth and partner success.

Ottawa, Canada, 05 Nov 2013

Demonstrating its leader status in IT services automation, N-able by SolarWinds, a global leader in remote monitoring and management (RMM) and service automation software, today announced it was named a 2013 Tech Innovator by CRN.

The win marks the second consecutive year N-able has won the top spot in the managed services category. In 2012, N-able's N-central platform received the honour, and in 2013, N-able's Automation Manager earned the title of most innovative technology in the managed service provider (MSP) market.

CRN and CRN Test Center editors evaluated hundreds of products to determine the best of the best across 17 categories in this year's Tech Innovator awards. N-able and other winners were honoured at a special presentation during the 2013 NexTI Conference, which took place on 28 October in Lake Las Vegas.

"Receiving this outstanding recognition from CRN two years in a row demonstrates N-able's leadership in the market and commitment to IT automation excellence," says JP Jauvin, general manager, N-able. "We've always placed the highest priority on technology innovation, and N-able's Automation Manager is a proven example of how MSPs can scale their business by automating service delivery. We dedicate this win to the continued growth and success of our partners, and see it as a further validation that N-able is leading and changing the way managed services gets done." The CRN Tech Innovator honour comes on the heels of nearly 15 accolades earned by N-able in 2012 and 2013, including the prestigious CRN Test Center Approved designation.

In selecting N-able in the managed services category, CRN singled out its N-central platform featuring Automation Manager, the only drag-and-drop scripting tool specifically designed for MSPs. Offering support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, along with 300-plus automation objects, Automation Manager allows MSPs to more easily automate their day-to-day activities and processes to save time, boost efficiency and profit, ensure consistent services standards, and create a higher value, more cost-efficient outcome.

To date, N-able's MSP partners manage more than 100 000 small and midsize businesses worldwide.

"The IT channel landscape has changed dramatically in recent years and solution providers are always on the lookout for new products that can help them take advantage of evolving market opportunities," says Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. "The CRN Tech Innovator awards recognise the vendors who are helping their solution provider partners solve challenges with innovative offerings." Tech Innovator winners will be featured in the November issue of CRN magazine and the full list of honourees will be available online at CRN.com beginning 11 November.
