Sage names Preactor as global endorsed solution for Sage ERP X3

It has been officially announced that Preactor is now an endorsed solution for Sage ERP X3.

Johannesburg, 02 May 2013

It has been officially announced at the Sage ERP X3 global convention, held in Berlin recently, that Preactor is now an endorsed solution for Sage ERP X3. Sage ERP X3 users around the world will have access to advanced planning and scheduling solutions from Preactor, thanks to the deal between the two businesses.

Because Preactor is now an endorsed solution, anyone selling the Sage software will also be able to provide Preactor software to complement it. This includes all of Sage's global network, covering both subsidiaries and partners.

Preactor products allow companies to schedule production to make optimum use of finite resources to meet manufacturing deadlines. Preactor software is designed to integrate with other software such as ERP systems, which is one reason why Sage has selected Preactor as an endorsed solution.

The companies have a longstanding relationship, with selected Sage ERP X3 accounts already having access to Preactor. Preactor is a global partner of Sage, and is certified for use alongside Sage products internationally. The worldwide presence of Preactor, and therefore its capability to support Sage users and provide local support wherever they are based, was a deciding factor in the decision to endorse Preactor.

Christophe Vanack`ere, COO of Sage ERP X3, said: "We are delighted to welcome Preactor as a new endorsed solution.

"We have already recommended Preactor advanced planning and scheduling products to selected Sage customers around the world, and so have seen the products in action. Because our products complement each other, it makes sense for us to now offer Preactor products alongside Sage products to all our customers worldwide, in order to provide a holistic solution."

The Preactor Group's CEO, Mike Novels, added: "As a global partner of Sage, we have already had the opportunity of working with them on many projects across various business sectors, where we have implemented joint solutions for their clients.

"Becoming an endorsed solution for Sage ERP X3 cements this relationship and opens up a wealth of international opportunities for us to work together."

Preactor software is already used by more than 4 500 customers across 75 countries, and is translated into over 30 languages.
