Performanta was recently awarded Productivity South Africa's Corporate Sector winner for the Gauteng region.
Productivity South Africa awarded Performanta this honour at a Gala Event hosted in Gauteng. Performanta was named by Productivity South Africa as the most productive place to work in the Corporate Sector within the Gauteng region.
Companies were honoured for their achievements in the areas of commitment to improving South Africa's competitiveness and productivity, by creating environments that are enabling for their workforce and contributing to the local economy.
The concept of the awards is based on the premise that developing productive capacity, in a broader social context, is concerned with how well we employ all available resources in South Africa to generate well-distributed wealth (both tangible and intangible). As such, all South Africans are central to this process. Since the inception of the awards in the mid-seventies, Productivity SA has recognised and awarded more than 100 different enterprises both in the public and private sectors for their efforts in improving and sustaining productivity. As one of many companies competing to receive this award, Performanta was selected based on a two-part evaluation of such criteria as general management, productivity, finance, administration, human resources and marketing.
