Friday, 8 November 2013, Britehouse announced it has acquired controlling stakes in two companies offering cloud solutions to customers using Microsoft technologies, namely Wishlist Corporation (Wishlist) and CompuBrand Technologies (CompuBrand).
Wishlist is a Gold certified Microsoft Dynamics partner, one of only a handful in South Africa, which sells and implements Microsoft Dynamics NAV as well as Dynamics CRM. Wishlist has also developed a cloud version of Dynamics called Dynamics Express, which allows customers to consume the Dynamics NAV and CRM technologies through a cloud platform.
"This transaction will enable Wishlist to expand the reach of its Microsoft Dynamics Solutions to a broader audience, as well as leverage Britehouse's expertise and intellectual property across both our Cloud and On-premises technology platforms," says Neville Levinthal, MD and co-founder of Wishlist.
CompuBrand is an industry leader in document brand management. Its Microsoft-based, on-premises and future cloud solutions manage the complexity of corporate identity, legal compliance and vast communication processes. It reassures corporates that staff create documents that adhere to company guidelines and corporate identity standards.
"Having Britehouse as a shareholder will provide us with an opportunity to access a wider local and global customer base and provide Britehouse customers with a solution that complements their existing investment in the Microsoft productivity suite," says Julia Coulson, MD and founder of CompuBrand.
"Microsoft is a key technology partner of the Britehouse Group and the many solutions we deliver to our customers," says Scott Gibson, Britehouse Group CEO. "We are always looking to expand our offering in this technology and we are excited about the many ways in which the Wishlist and CompuBrand solutions enhance our current Microsoft services. We are already working with Wishlist and CompuBrand to bring their IP into our Innovations Factory and add the technology to our existing cloud and mobile solutions," he said.
