Rainmaker, VisitEngland unveil Tourism Exchange Great Britain

Rainmaker Solutions, the business transformation specialist, has partnered with V3 Leisure and VisitEngland to launch a new B2B technology platform known as TXGB.

Rainmaker has delivered and will run a revolutionary one-stop tourism exchange that will allow suppliers to manage content, live availability, pricing and bookings across multiple distributors. Built for Britain and launched in England, working with the Discover England Fund, TXGB will empower tourism businesses of all shapes and sizes across the country, driving regionality as well as increased value and volume of export tourism.

Having just launched to the market, the unique platform will ensure suppliers can easily manage all aspects of their business in one place, simplifying the process for businesses wanting to connect to multiple distribution channels. Suppliers can select as many distributors as they want by agreeing to the respective terms, conditions and fees, as well as viewing booking data and sales analytics, allowing them to identify trends across all distribution channels.

TXGB will be free to use, with commission being paid to the distributors the company opts in to, and a 2.5% + VAT service fee, calculated per booking to TXGB, which goes towards the sustainability of the platform.

With export tourism in England contributing £25 billion to the UK economy, VisitEngland and Rainmaker are pleased to launch this central exchange to finally rationalise this vast marketplace that has been hugely fragmented for a long time.
