YMCA invests in e-business suite

The YMCA of Greater New York chose the Oracle e-business suite to revamp its IT systems and benefit from an integrated suite of software applications, reports FoxBusiness.

The non-profit human services organisation plans to deploy Oracle Human Resources Management System, Oracle Grants Accounting, Oracle Financial Management and Oracle Customer Relationship Management.

With the systems in place, they hope to create more sophisticated fundraising and grant management initiatives and grow its membership.

Workstream sold to payroll company

Workstream, which focuses on human resources, has been sold to Empagio, a payroll services company, to create a company worth about $200 million in stock market capitalisation, reports OttawaCitizen.

Workstream shareholders will hold 25% of the expanded company and Empagio, led by Orlando businessman Seth Bernstein, will hold the rest.

Workstream shares fell 21% on the news.

Guinness outsources payroll services

ICS Computing will offer managed and bureau payroll services to housing association The Guinness Partnership, reports CBR Online.

ICS is a privately-owned provider of payroll services, offering outsourced payroll, HR and payroll software, services and process consultancy.

Its payroll services offer account management, performance monitoring and credits regime, scalable and flexible services, integration with HR and Finance, ERP systems, comprehensive data access, instant analysis and management information, and customised implementation.
