Gateway EDI expands

CPU Medical Management Systems, a provider of software to medical billing services, has partnered with Gateway EDI, an electronic data interchange (EDI) provider, says PR.com.

The partnership is a result of Gateway EDI's expansion in the western region of the US. Charlotte Martin, Gateway EDI's president and CEO says, “Partnering with CPU allows us to reach customers in this area and empowers both companies to offer the best choice for revenue improvement”.

Gateway EDI's enterprise solutions program provides direct access to account representatives, free online training, account activity monitoring, direct pay connections and customised payer reporting.

CTI unveils e-billing solution

CTI Group says it will introduce a new suite of electronic billing and invoice management products in the US, reports TMCnet.

The e-billing suite of products includes Dynamic Reports, which is an e-billing and invoice solution, and Analysis, an online reporting tool which analyses e-billing information for providing customised reports.

“The success that these products have seen in the European market, where we support the top five mobile carriers, plus many smaller ones, is a great launching pad for their success in the US market,” says John Birbeck, CTI Group CEO.

Stevens Institute begins e-billing

The Stevens Institute of Technology is in the process of rolling out its new e-billing system in an effort to make billing easier and the institute more eco-friendly, says The Stute.

Prior to the start of e-billing, students were able to pay with credit cards online or with a credit card or cheque in person at the student service centre.

With the new system, credit cards (excluding Visa) will be accepted with a convenience fee, and electronic cheque payments will be accepted for free.
