Micro Focus has moved its popular customer forum online for 2020, bringing local customers and partners its first fully interactive virtual exhibition and conference.

The three-day event, Micro Focus Realize 2020, will illustrate how digital technologies level up every aspect of business.

Featuring focused tracks, interactive partner booths, and a virtual event lobby for networking, Micro Focus Realize 2020 will deliver all the highlights of a real-life event in a format that makes participation easier than ever for partners and customers.

We’re really excited about this year’s format,” says Gary de Menezes, ‎country general manager at ‎Micro Focus South Africa. “It underlines how the innovative use of technologies enables us to move beyond business as usual to business next level. It allows us to scale up the number of visitors to the forum and give them more opportunities to learn and network than usual.”

Last year, over 650 people attended Experience Micro Focus Universe to see digital transformation in action. At Micro Focus Realize 2020, more participants will be able to join sessions, workshops and demos online, tour a virtual exhibition hall, download information, and schedule meetings with partners.

Realize 2020 will open with an inspiring talk by Saray Khumalo, award-winning adventurer and motivational speaker, and the first black African woman to scale Mount Everest and reach the South Pole.

It will feature four tracks aligned to major trends impacting local customers and partners: Application Modernisation; Application Management; Security, Risk and Governance; and Hybrid IT Management, with the sessions spread across three days.

The Micro Focus Realize 2020 virtual customer forum will be staged in partnership with ITWeb on 15, 16 and 17 September.
