ASAUDIT, the Association of South African University Directors of Information Technology, announced at its Spring General Meeting that a new discounted price framework will shortly be available to the South African higher education sector.
In partnership with KHIPU, the framework will allow South African institutions to purchase Proofpoint e-mail security solutions from a pre-negotiated discounted price list to address their top priorities for cyber protection, including: phishing, imposters, spam and malware.
KHIPU's next-generation e-mail security solutions, based on Proofpoint's technology portfolio, protect people, data and brands from advanced threats and compliance risks.
Through a cloud-based platform built for the way people work today, KHIPU's solutions will:

The framework, negotiated by ASAUDIT, will enable South African higher education institutions to invest into a proven next-generation e-mail platform that protects and prevents cyber attacks while enabling them to meet strategic initiatives for digital transformation, such as the move to the cloud. Proofpoint's new flexible licence models for the education sector also enable easier justification for investment that is key in today's cyber security climate.
