Blue Turtle first certified ClearPass partner in Africa

BYOD security for enterprise.

Johannesburg, 21 Jan 2014

Blue Turtle Technologies has become Aruba Networks' first fully certified ClearPass partner in Africa.

Matthew Barker, regional manager, sub-Saharan Africa at Aruba Networks, says: "By qualifying for this certification, Blue Turtle provides Aruba with the ability to provide top services to new and existing enterprise clients in-country. Time and money are saved as support structures are now locally based."

"In a world where the users of our data centre services, whether employees, contractors or clients, are increasingly mobile and where corporate ownership of the devices they use are no longer a given, business can no longer adopt a non-restrictive approach to internal or external network access," says Martyn Healy, marketing director at Blue Turtle Technologies. "ClearPass Policy Manager is a market leader in network access control, delivering granular policy-based network access control while supporting a wide range of devices. This allows business to embrace rather than fear BYOD and mobility and the associated business benefits. For us, the investment in ClearPass Policy Manager training made a lot of sense and our customers will hopefully soon start benefiting from this investment as well."

Clients are now able to manage network policies, devices and mobile work applications across any network. Further benefits of using their own devices, is that one is giving employees more freedom over their choice of devices without compromising on their network security.
