Be part of local research for a safer Internet with Microsoft

Johannesburg, 13 Jan 2011

On 8 February 2011, Microsoft will once again support Safer Internet Day.

For the past few years, Microsoft has been involved in supporting Safer Internet Day - aiming to promote a safer use of the Internet, online technologies and mobile phones, and the fight against illegal or harmful content and conduct.

Microsoft is currently running a survey with MSN for the moms and dads of South Africa - which hopes to determine how safe kids are on the Internet locally, and what their parents think and know about their Internet use.

You can be part of the local research by completing the following survey: 'Are your kids safe online?'

There is no direct link unfortunately, so click here and then click on the survey under Editor's Choice.

Results will be released on 8 February 2011.
