A survey on independent software vendors (ISVs), being conducted by ITWeb in partnership with Tarsus on Demand, has gone live on ITWeb.

Jessica Harvey, product marketing manager for Microsoft Azure at Tarsus On Demand, says: “As the Microsoft Indirect Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) of the Year four years in a row, Tarsus on Demand wants insights into accelerating demand generation and technical enablement for independent software vendors (ISVs). We’re always looking to bring change and innovation to the industry by providing our customers and partners with leading and advanced cloud solutions.”

Tarsus On Demand (TOD), the cloud division of Tarsus Technology Group, is accelerating demand generation for ISVs by connecting Microsoft customers with the best software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications that TOD partners have to offer.

TOD’s partner support services are open to ISVs wanting to scale up, as well as more established vendors that are seeking new markets and new revenue models. ISVs gain access to the resources they need, such as solution assessment and optimisation, technical support, application design, architecture design, security, and Azure credits for ongoing development and testing.

Also included is access to in-demand cloud architects, who have the theoretical and practical skills necessary to understand cloud infrastructure, across compute, storage, networking, security, and data management.

An integral benefit for ISVs is TOD’s marketing-as-a-service (MaaS) offering for growing businesses looking to move to the next level or launching a new product and wanting to attract new customers.

Marketing is costly and is difficult for ISVs that don’t have the skills and expertise in-house. With MaaS, TOD’s ISV partners have access to the right tools and people to identify their market potential, examine the value chain, successfully market their business and reach their target audience.

With that in mind, we would like ISVs and resellers to tell us how they’re accelerating demand generation and technical enablement.

In this survey, we ask respondents whether they use a cloud solution provider, if they have a go-to-market strategy for their business and which applications they use for demand generation projects.

By completing the questionnaire you stand a chance to win a Takealot voucher to the value of R3 000.
