Quintica Southern Africa has strengthened its local management portfolio with the appointment of Kerry Evans as its MD.

Evans brings to the role knowledge on the industry, customer relationships as well as business and leadership acumen, says Quintica, an ICT technology and professional services systems integration company.

"Quintica is an exciting company that is doing great things in Africa and the Middle East, but to many remains unknown," states Evans.

"I am looking forward to driving not only awareness of the holistic value that Quintica can bring to a business, but also engaging with customers as to how we can take them forward through the use of our best practices in combining people, process and technology through the use of locally developed and locally relevant ITIL material," she added.

The appointment of Evans will see a renewed focus on a campaign-driven business model, increased emphasis on sales, and a better understanding of local enterprise through her existing customer relationships within the ICT industry.

"'The Quintica Way' combines the knowledge of ITIL processes, local experience in the appropriate application thereof, and the use of BMC & Sungard software to enable the customer to maintain and drive the efficiencies.

"We have so much intellectual property within this business that we haven't aggressively taken to market, something I hope to change," says Evans.

"It is my intention to create a strategy and then advantageously align the people and organisation behind it by tapping into the available resources we have on hand, all with the purpose of making a meaningful and impactful contribution to our customers," concludes Evans.
