According to leading industry tests - AV-Comparatives and AV-Test, Panda Security products offer the highest level of protection.
"These tests are evidence of our superior detection technology," says country manager for Panda Security, Jeremy Matthews.
From March to June 2014, there were more than 150 000 'real world' proactive detection tests carried out by the AV-Comparatives independent laboratory. The results show that Panda Security's anti-malware engine detected and blocked 99.9% of threats. Panda's solution competed with over 20 other anti-virus solutions, beating all other products.
AV-Test also conducted its own 'real world' detection tests in May and June of this year. Panda achieved the highest score, with 100% detection ratio for the second consecutive month. There were 23 products tested by the laboratory and only three three achieved the maximum detection rate. In addition to this, Panda Security scored the highest points in AV-Test's 'Monthly Consumer Product Test'.
These results focus on products utilising the new XMT (Extreme Malware Terminator) Smart Engineering engine. With XMT, different technologies interact with each other to achieve new levels of efficiency, detection and disinfection power. The XMT engine is included in the new 2015 consumer product line.
