Jupiter Digital Printing line unveiled

Hymmen, manufacturers of specialist production lines for home d'ecor products, has released the Jupiter Digital Printing Line at Ligna in Hannover, according to Wide-FormatImaging.

This innovative 'single pass' printing system features the Xaar 1001 printheads to image a variety of decorative effects and graphics directly onto the surface of the substrate.

This is the first time the Xaar 1001 has been used for the industrial production of laminate flooring or furniture and is a further endorsement of Xaar's inkjet technology.

Designjet range expanded

HP has expanded its Designjet large-format portfolio with a range of new workgroup and multifunction printers, software solutions and new media choices to address the needs of vertical segments, IT managers and production operators, reports IT News Online.

With advanced options to integrate into IT-managed network infrastructure environments, HP says the new products, solutions and large-format papers are ideal for geographic information systems, architecture, engineering and construction and mechanical computer-aided design workgroups.

It offers increased personal productivity with improved connectivity, security, fleet management and cost control capabilities.

Ricoh intros colour line

Ricoh, provider of digital office equipment, has introduced the Ricoh Aficio SP C231N and SP C232DN printers, according to PRNewswire.

Ricoh's newest laser printers are an upgrade of the previous Aficio SP C221N and SP C222DN models and offer small workgroups an enhanced control panel and available high yield supplies.

According to the company, the speed and quality of the Ricoh Aficio SP C231N/ SP C232DN allow users to produce vibrant colour prints at a rate of 21 pages per minute.
