Heat and Goldmine specialists, Intelligise, add Alchemex to offering

Johannesburg, 30 Sep 2008

Leading FrontRange Solutions partner in the Western Cape, Intelligise, has recently aligned with Excel Integration to include the Alchemex Reporting Solution in their Heat and Goldmine offerings. Intelligise MD, Allan Gibbon says: "Our clients continue to rely on Excel as a Heat and Goldmine reporting platform, so it makes sense to provide them with an engine that is able to alleviate the repetitive and time consuming overhead of traditional extractions and manipulations to Excel."

After an extensive search, Intelligise settled on Alchemex as their chosen Excel reporting solution. Gibbon explains: "Alchemex is affordable and has cornered the Excel reporting market in Southern Africa, with over 12 000 users enjoying automated Excel reporting". In addition, reporting templates have been developed specifically for Goldmine users and these offer fast track access to customisable and automated Excel reports. Intelligise also plan to assist their Heat clients enhance and automate their existing reliance on Excel. Technical Director Robin Jackson says: "Excel is often an ideal platform for the presentation of Heat data and furthermore, most Heat administrators have a comfortable familiarity with Excel."

Alchemex distributor, Excel Integration is confident the partnership with Intelligise will reach beyond the confines of Heat and Goldmine. MD Brad Bartlett suggests: "Alchemex is a generic reporting solution and Intelligise possess the skills to deploy the tool's benefits beyond call centres, CRM and across multiple business units". Alchemex is already pervasively used on popular financial applications and now with an effort focused on CRM and call centres, reporting will emerge where the financial and CRM data and/or call centre data are consolidated in a single Excel output. Traditionally only companies with an extensive reporting budget would enjoy the union of disparate data such as forecasted sales together with the actual sales drawn from the accounting database.

Bartlett concludes, "Considering recent technology strides in linking Excel with databases, users should now look to replace old manual Excel habits with an 'Excelboost' initiative resulting in automated Excel reporting".
