South African-based business intelligence (BI) vendor, Alchemex, was honoured by Sage North America at the first annual Sage Development Partner Awards, at the Sage Summit 2011 Conference, on 11 July 2011 at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Centre, in Washington DC, USA.
Alchemex received two awards in the 2011 Sage Endorsed and OEM Partner of the Year category, for Sage ERP Accpac and Sage Simply Accounting respectively. Selected by Sage business partners and Sage business leaders, these honours were awarded to Sage development partners who have:
* Successfully delivered solutions that best fit customer and market needs.
* Actively assisted the Sage channel in closing new Sage solution sales.
* Significantly helped Sage with customer retention.
* Maintained a solid reputation for customer satisfaction.
Sage Endorsed and OEM Partners are Sage premier partners that offer solutions that have been handpicked by Sage to meet strategic, technological, and integration criteria for Sage solutions. Sage ERP Accpac Intelligence and Sage Simply Accounting Intelligence, powered by Alchemex, are two such solutions.
In Washington DC, for the conference and on hand for the announcement of the awards, were Charles Teversham, Alchemex SA Managing Director, and Gary Boddington, Alchemex CEO. Sage Intelligence is a reporting and analysis add-on solution integrated with a number of Sage products, which promises richer insight into a business. Using the familiar Microsoft Excel interface, it enables more robust reporting and easier access to Sage ERP and accounting data, providing affordable, intuitive business intelligence for small to medium businesses.
The Sage Summit Conference 2011, held in Washington DC, from 10 - 15 July, showcased Sage Intelligence extensively, with seven Alchemex team members in attendance running a total of 44 intelligence learning sessions over six days, and manning a busy Sage Intelligence booth.
Stephen Coull, Alchemex Sales Director, was awarded Best Speaker of the Day for his session on: 'Intelligence: Why you need it'. He says: “Sage Summit 2011 offered us the opportunity to connect with Sage leaders, partners and customers and show them the power of intelligence. It is always encouraging, given the enormity of the North American software market and its competitive nature, that our product is so well-received. Our integrated BI solution in Excel really addresses the needs of SMEs hungry for useful and usable information.
