HP has introduced additions to its Elite product range - the HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1 notebook, the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Business Desktop Mini, the HP EliteDisplay S230tm and the HP Classmate Notebook PC.

Herbert Koeck, SVP HP PPS and MD HP EMEA, says today's employees want technology that fits their personal style, while still giving them the capability to work remotely. He adds that IT managers now need to support this way of working, all while managing security and reliability.

Koeck says the new additions are aimed at meeting these needs. "The HP EliteBook Folio 1040 G1 notebook is 16.1% thinner and 7.3% lighter than the previous version, while still offering military-grade reliability and durability. It is one of the sturdiest, thinnest and lightest available."

He describes the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Business Desktop Mini as one of the smallest business desktop PCs on the market and features the latest power efficiency, security and manageability solutions available today.

Described by Koeck as HP's first Windows 8-certified touch monitor for business, the HP Classmate Notebook PC boasts a 23-inch diagonal multi-touch monitor with antiglare glass for viewing in high ambient light conditions.

Finally the HP Classmate Notebook PC, is aimed at students, uses HP's latest technologies to offer an 'educational experience' and is affordable, and features Windows 8.1 and the new Intel Celeron N2000 Series processors.
