Centrify Corporation, a leader in unified identity services across data centre, cloud and mobile, announced that it is delivering on its partnership with Samsung Electronics Co. announced earlier this year by enabling the latest KNOX-enabled models of Samsung's GALAXY S4, Note 3 and Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) devices with its unparalleled Active Directory integration, mobile application Zero Sign-On, and KNOX container and device management capabilities.
As a result of Centrify's integration with Samsung KNOX, organisations can leverage Centrify's cloud service to comprehensively manage Android users and devices and address security and management of enterprise mobility, application access, and bring your own device (BYOD) and corporate owned personally enabled (COPE) challenges. Centrify also announced that it has become a worldwide reseller of Samsung KNOX and has introduced the "All Things KNOX" (http://www.allthingsknox.com) resource site.
Samsung KNOX is the industry's most comprehensive mobile solution for work and play that lets consumers easily separate their work and personal lives on their mobile devices, while giving enterprises enhanced security at all levels of the Android platform. Powering devices such as GALAXY S4, and recently introduced GALAXY Note 3 and Note 10.1, Samsung KNOX retains full compatibility with Android and the Google ecosystem while adding fundamental security and management enhancements, including container technology that, with one click, securely separates personal data on the device from corporate data and apps. Integrated with Centrify, mobile workforces are empowered to use the devices they prefer, while IT is enabled to confidently embrace BYOD and COPE models without sacrificing security or manageability.
Mobile Zero Sign-On and container and device management
Centrify for Samsung KNOX is now generally available as a standard feature set with the Samsung KNOX platform through the OEM partnership between Centrify and Samsung that delivers integrated Active Directory management "Zero Sign-On" to apps, KNOX container management and device management for Samsung KNOX-enabled devices. With Centrify for Samsung KNOX, end-users leverage the improved productivity benefits of Zero Sign-On access to rich mobile apps and cloud-based SaaS apps, while IT easily manages KNOX containers and the underlying devices using an infrastructure they already own - Microsoft Active Directory. Centrify for Samsung KNOX is delivered as a cloud service that is up and running in minutes, resulting in Samsung KNOX delivering not only world-class mobile security, but also seamless enterprise integration.
Centrify is the industry's only solution delivering mobile device management (MDM) and single sign-on (SSO) that is included in the Samsung KNOX platform. Any organisation with Samsung KNOX-licensed devices is eligible for this solution and can sign up at www.centrify.com/samsungknox to start their no-cost Centrify for Samsung KNOX cloud subscription service. The Centrify for Samsung KNOX app is also available on the Google Play store and at the KNOX app store.
Worldwide reseller agreement
Centrify is also announcing a new agreement that enables Centrify to resell Samsung KNOX licences. Samsung KNOX is ready to use with many Samsung devices, such as GALAXY S4, Note 3 and Note 10.1. IT administrators can activate KNOX on these devices by contacting Centrify to arrange a trial or purchase licences. To deploy Samsung KNOX, IT administrators will need these licences and a Samsung KNOX-approved mobile device management (MDM) service such as Centrify for Samsung KNOX. The Samsung KNOX licensing model is flexible to meet the needs of enterprise customers and is available as a subscription fee per device that includes support.

Availability
The Centrify for Samsung KNOX solution is available to every Samsung KNOX customer and is included with their purchase of Samsung KNOX from any authorised global reseller of Samsung KNOX. The Samsung KNOX licence key provided by Centrify or any other Samsung KNOX reseller can be added to the Centrify Cloud Manager portal to enable Centrify for Samsung KNOX features.
