Michael holds a wealth of versatile experience in both the public and private sectors. After completing his apprenticeship in the SA Navy as a radio/radar technician, he worked in sales and senior management positions for ICT operators like Vodacom and MTN, and was involved in successfully launching Neotel in South Africa.
Since founding Innovo Networks in 2013, Michael has racked up an impressive list of business and entrepreneur awards. These include Top 10 IT Personality of the Year 2016, and a finalist in the Entrepreneur of the Year award 2017 for the second time.
His company has also won a number of awards, including the Eskom BIC 2022, Cape BPO Technology Award (2022), third runner-up in the Huawei Cloud Developer Competition, and Africa Tech Week Finalist.Articles
