Insys Business Solutions, one of the leading business partners for Interact Commerce Corp. (ex-SalesLogix) in Africa, today announced that it had acquired MetaLogix (Pty) Ltd., another leading business partner of Interact Commerce in Southern Africa.
This now creates the largest business partner for Interact Commerce in Africa, and one that has responsibility for all the currently installed base of SalesLogix product on the continent, some 2000 seats.
"This acquisition, our second one this year, brings us a major step closer to our intended listing on the main board of the JSE, probably in 2001," commented Brian Packham, Managing Director for Insys Business Solutions. "This initiative brings our staff complement up to nearly 70 people and significantly enhances our presence in the local market," Packham added.
Brian Drury, the Managing Director of MetaLogix, becomes the Operations Director for Insys Business Solutions, responsible for the services, support and development of all the products handled by Insys Business Solutions.
