ITWeb journalists have been named among the country`s top ICT journalists for the third consecutive year.
Three ITWeb journalists were named among the winners at the 2004 Telkom ICT Journalist of the Year awards in Bryanston last night.
ITWeb telecoms editor Rodney Weidemann took second place and technology editor Warwick Ashford took third place in the electronic category, behind Moneyweb`s Belinda Anderson.
ITWeb trainee journalist Damian Clarkson received a commendable mention in the new journalist category.
Matthew Buckland of Brainstorm and The Media was awarded second place in the business magazine category.
Patricia McCracken of Caxton Magazines` Bona title was the overall winner of the Telkom ICT Journalist of the Year Award for 2004, with Marina Bidoli, previously of Financial Mail, in second place. Former ITWeb and ThisDay journalist Phillip de Wet and Moneyweb`s Anderson shared joint third place overall.
