Kelvin Reynolds, MD of Oracle South Africa, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Oracle Corporation, has been promoted to vice-president within the organisation.
Reynolds will retain his position as MD of the country subsidiary, a post he has held for two years.
He is the first South African to achieve this level of seniority, says Oracle.
Reynolds has held senior management positions within Oracle South Africa for six years, and has been active in the South African IT industry for 20 years.
"My work here in SA is far from finished and I have no plans for any additional offshore responsibilities. Oracle SA has performed particularly well over the past 12 months and I expect this to continue," says Reynolds.
