MTN`s acquisition of Zambian cellular operator Telecel Zambia has been finalised.
The acquisition of 100% of the company - one of three operators in the country, was first announced in June, along with the news of the purchase of 51% of an operator in Ivory Coast.
MTN issued a note to shareholders this morning to inform them that all the conditions precedent for the Zambian deal have now been fulfilled.
