Jasco Electronics is to get a new company secretary with effect from tomorrow.
Emma Mashilwane, a chartered accountant, assumes the role from Jasco chief operating officer Martin Lotz, who previously held the posts of financial director and company secretary at the group.
A member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, Mashilwane has a BCompt degree from the University of SA and a BCom (Hons) from the University of Natal.
She joins Jasco from KPMG, which she joined in 2001. Prior to that, she was employed at Standard Bank from 1996 to 2000.
Lotz was company secretary and financial director until November last year, when a management shuffle saw him take up the new post of chief operating officer, responsible for the internal management of Jasco`s operating divisions.
Tomorrow also sees MD Joe Madungandaba take over the CEO post, while current CEO Stuart Robertson takes up a position at majority shareholder Community Investment Holdings.
