Mark Campbell, former COO of Ingram Micro SA, has been appointed GM of IBM and Lenovo, at Tarsus Technologies.
He replaces Ron Keschner, who will take up another position in the MB Technologies group. Tarsus is the distribution arm of MB Technologies.
"Lenovo and IBM are two of the fastest growing business units in the Tarsus stable and I have been tasked with keeping that momentum going and increasing the pace wherever possible," says Campbell.
He says the Lenovo market share can be grown in SA, especially considering the breadth of the technology's portfolio in China.
"It's undoubtedly going to be one of the most demanding and, by far, most rewarding roles I've undertaken at MB Technologies. I'm excited about the new challenges this position will present."
