JSE-listed Vestor Investments is looking to change its name to ConvergeNet Holdings.
The proposed name will reflect the recent management change and the company's new focus on the IT market, says Vestor.
Since the beginning of the year, Vestor has made several acquisitions in the IT space, including ConvergeNet SA, Structured Connectivity Solutions and Sizwe Africa IT Group.
The company will hold a general meeting with shareholders on 27 August to approve the name change. Vestor expects to begin trading under ConvergeNet Holdings as of 21 September.
