Premier Internet service provider (ISP), DataPro, has devised a way to take Telkom`s consumer restricted solutions and bundle them into a fully-fledged business service. The new solution, Business ADSL, includes all the components smaller businesses - up to 20 users - require to communicate effectively and efficiently on the Internet.
Murray Steyn, Product Manager: SOHO Solution at DataPro, confirmed that, with DataPro`s uncapped ADSL solution, clients now have broadband access to the Internet. This can be done by making use of their existing telephone lines and ADSL technology.
Included in the new bundle is the ADSL Router`s monthly rental; the Communication Server Hardware`s monthly rental; permanent Internet connectivity or access - with uncapped local and international bandwidth; E-mail Server Software that facilitates centralised mail, `calendaring` and tasks; standard Firewall software; proxy server software; remote support for the Firewall, Mail Server; and Virus protection software. Steyn said DataPro has "cross-subsidised" the service in a move to keep the pricing as lean as possible.
He highlighted a number of business benefits, including the fact that there is no capital outlay or investment in rapidly changing technology. "It is also an all-in-one box solution from one accountable supplier, comes with 24-hour technical support from DataPro`s helpdesk - and with fixed monthly support costs."
The solution also boasts enhanced network and information security enhances staff productivity through shared, centralised tasks and calendars - and saves on transaction costs by using the client`s Internet connection for online transactions such as Internet banking.
Unlike other ADSL offerings, DataPro`s Business ADSL offers users both local and international bandwidth - but uncapped. This means that there is no limit to the amount of information you can download on a monthly basis
DataPro`s Business ADSL will be sold as a bundled solution only.
