Alan Knott-Craig, CEO of SA`s largest cellular operator Vodacom, is making a "remarkable recovery" in a Johannesburg hospital, following a heart attack last Thursday morning.
This is according to Dot Field, Vodacom group executive of corporate communications, who said this morning: "He is doing very well. We hope he will be discharged within the next few days, although we are still waiting for the hospital to tell us."
It is understood this is the third heart attack Knott-Craig has suffered.
While he is out of action, the cellular group will remain under the leadership of COO Pieter Uys.
