Wired4Women: Balance to bloom
Intentionally aligned with the 2026 theme of United Nations International Women's Day - a Wired4Women gathering, held on 13 March at The Saxon, explored what justice looks like in ICT and digital leadership. Not as aspiration but as structure because progress without sustainability is not progress at all. Balance is not about personal resilience or better time management. It is structural justice embedded in systems, metrics, policies and leadership behaviour. Bloom is the outcome.

Exciting opportunities for women in business
In this 'Women working IT' series, Brainstorm magazine provides a spotlight for female leaders in the IT space to weigh in on how women are stepping up to collaborate in uplifting each other and the young girls hoping to make their own mark in business. Annette Breetske, Human Capital Executive: Digital & Technology at Momentum Metropolitan, took some time during a female empowerment luncheon to discuss the evolving technological landscape, education and the mindshift needed in order to seize career opportunities. #womenintech #femaleempowerment #jobsforwomen
