Digital publisher 365 is staging what it describes as SA`s first online beauty pageant, to coincide with the re-launch of its rugby site, Rugby365.com.
The competition, titled MissRugby365.com, calls on users to submit nominations and vote for their favourite 'rugby beauty`. The competition runs until 1 October and offers prizes totalling R23 000. MissRugby365.com is sponsored by PlayUKLottery.com and prizes are supplied by Cape Property Solutions.
365 is the Cape Town-based subsidiary of Rivals Digital Media, which is seen as the largest digital sports media company in Europe.
It has re-launched its rugby-focused site with better packaging and easier navigation. The company says the improvements also include a home page with extra photos and a more concise menu. It says the new look boosted its unique user numbers by 12 000 last month alone, and that these figures are expected to rise sharply ahead of the rugby world cup.
