Travellers at the Buffalo airport will be showing a lot more than their identification by early next year when a full-body scanning booth will be added to the checkpoint, says Buffalo News.

The federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA) confirmed plans to install body-imaging technology at Buffalo Niagara International Airport as part of the airport's security overhaul.

"We don't have an exact timetable at this point, but Buffalo will get this great new technology," said TSA spokeswoman Lara Uselding. "It's in place at 10 airports now and is working extremely well."

Konica Minolta unveils bizhub C200

Konica Minolta Business Solutions, a provider of imaging and technologies has unveiled the new bizhub C200, a multifunctional product to fit the needs of small to medium enterprises, says Market Watch.

The bizhub C200, which prints at 20 pages per minute in both colour and black and white, is an entry-level bizhub developed by Konica Minolta that can handle media sizes ranging from 5.5"x 8.5" to as large as 12"x18".

The standard 250-sheet paper capacity can be increased to a maximum of 3 350 sheets - media types ranging from plain paper (up to 24 lb.) to thick stock (up to 140 lb index). The Job Separator option adds flexibility to the capability of the bizhub C200 by offering a choice of an additional output tray that can be programmed to handle different functions.

Fuji introduces Inca

Fujifilm brought together several of its top partners to introduce the revolutionary Inca Onset, the world's fastest flatbed printer, says WhatTheyThink.

They also used to opportunity to unveil their new Inkjet Solutions Center which houses some of the industry's most innovative digital printers.

Onset's high speed inkjet capability comes from a massive array of 576 printheads that deliver an amazing 3 billion ink drops per second, producing quality prints at 100+ beds per hour.
