The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Rendezvous was held in Panama in February this year, bringing together all partners in the Alcatel-Lucent community to kick-start the year with focus on the new applications and services Alcatel-Lucent has to offer.

Following this Rendezvous in Panama, a tour to Johannesburg kicked off at Hyatt Regency Johannesburg. As proud partner of Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, CBX Tech was happy to facilitate the utilisation of Hyatt Regency's resources by Alcatel-Lucent.

"What made this stop special was that we were able to profile a successful partner, CBX Tech, by hosting the gathering at Hyatt Regency, a hospitality customer of CBX Tech and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise," says Manish Punjabi, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise Channel Marketing Manager for the EMEA region.

Hyatt Regency ensures that you experience a level of excellence in service and a touch of sophistication whether your itinerary is that for a small executive retreat or a company-wide conference.

CBX Tech is proud to be associated with Hyatt Regency as their ICT partner of choice. As Hyatt Regency have the Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise flagship product implemented, the OmniPCX Enterprise, the integration and evolution into next level technologies has been simplified with easy access to applications that will not only increase their current customer base satisfaction, but also invite new clientele to appreciate the relationship between technology and creature comforts.

As we keep on profiling our users, we clearly address the needs of each type user and propose the effective solution based on the business needs of each user (employee or customer). During the Rendezvous, focus was placed on the synergy between "BOYD and the existing room sets" in the hospitality industry amongst a few other topics. Guests now have the ability to use their smart devices to access all hotel services as if utilising the set in their rooms (even before they arrive). Hotels can now also offer guests a value-added mobility service as a standalone solution or as part of a room telephony solution within the hotel. Also a solution for Apple iOS and Android devices now adds voice to a third-party "e-concierge" application and to hotel billing services if so desired. "We have decided to work with CBX Tech and the rest of the teams as we believe in the product and pushing it forward. We truly believe that it has incredible features which are bound to add value to certain of our customers, especially our more technological visitors" says Mr. McBain, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Johannesburg.

Mr. Punjabi also added in his latest blog: "Our Alcatel-Lucent Partner Rendezvous Tour gives us the opportunity over three days to touch and connect with Partners and their local teams on how to boost their business and better serve their customers." CBX Tech and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise have partnered in the market with great success in the hospitality industry and will endeavour to maintain the image of professionalism and proof in the technical "pudding" as we climb this ladder of advancement together.
