Africa's CA IT Management Symposium 2012, based on the international CA World event, promises to deliver even more than its acclaimed debut did.
Unveiled in February 2011, the CA IT Management Symposium Africa, presented in partnership with ITWeb, attracted hundreds of delegates keen to get the latest IT management insights from CA's global experts.
CA Southern Africa says this year's event will deliver yet more insights, tracks, demos and entertainment, condensed into a single day of 'everything IT needs to know now'.
The CA IT Management Symposium Africa will be presented at the Sandton Convention Centre, on 4 September, by CA Southern Africa and its partners. Themed “IT at the speed of business”, the event will cover the biggest issues facing IT today, says CA Southern Africa MD Gary Lawrence.
Among these are service virtualisation, cloud computing, IT security and social media in the enterprise space.
Themed tracks dedicated to transformation, business acceleration and security will drill down into the trends, tools, techniques and forecasts IT and business need to understand in a fast-changing environment.
CIOs will get to grips with the latest in virtualisation, cloud and security; discover what Polaris can do for them; get a better insight into new unified management and service assurance trends; and critically, learn to accelerate, automate and simplify IT to deliver sterling service management - at the speed of business.
The symposium and expo looks at more than IT - it covers related business imperatives, too, with critical issues facing management coming under the spotlight. Among them will be 'Driving business growth in the age of innovation', a keynote by Andi Mann, VP, Strategic Solutions at CA Technologies; and a hard-hitting look at the ICT job creation challenge in SA, delivered by Brian Gubbins, EOH business development director.
