BoE Bank, the business division of BoE Bank Limited, is showcasing its new payment solution at E-commerce World 2000 currently underway at the MTN Sundome in Northgate.
Targeted at medium to large enterprises, BoE Bank`s MasterCard Purchasing Card is described as a secure card-based business-to-business purchasing and payment solution. It is primarily intended to purchase routine goods and services for maintenance, repairs and operations.
Johan Rothmann, e-commerce business manager for BoE Bank`s business division, says while the product will enable purchases from Internet merchants, the card will also act as a cash flow management and accounting tool.
The product has other functionalities which will be discussed at the official launch next week, says Dave Levey, BoE Bank e-business product development manager.
Levey and Rothmann say the initiative forms part of BoE Bank`s business strategy to deliver card payment and acceptance solutions electronically to buyers and suppliers for e-commerce and traditional purchasing and trading.
Future products along this line will revolve around further integration of new technology, such as mobile and other delivery channels, says Rothmann.
