BT extends Steria contract
Steria, the European IT-enabled business services company announced the extension of its applications outsourcing contract with BT until March 2014, reports Latribune.
According to the contract, Steria will continue to support the key applications that underpin BT's UK operations for finance and accounting transaction processing, ledger and payroll services.
The extension is worth EUR92 million over the six-year period and will provide continuing support for and transformation of the critical business applications that support BT's finance operations.
Emptoris implements HMRC solution
Enterprise supply and contract management software supplier Emptoris announced it has implemented its supply and contract management software suite at the British HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), reports Redorbit.
The management software will allow the HMRC to manage its annual spending and ensure it reports more effectively to government auditors.
The Emptoris suite includes solutions for sourcing, spend analysis, contract management and supplier performance management.
Premier looks to I-many
I-many, a contract management software and services provider, announced that Premier, a healthcare alliance of not-for-profit hospitals and healthcare systems, has implemented CARS(NG), according to Marketwatch.
Premier uses the contract management and rebate features of I-many's CARS(NG) for all its contracts within industry verticals that it conducts business, including pharmaceuticals, medical/surgical, food, capital equipment and administrative services.
Premier's implementation of CARS(NG) includes advanced revenue forecasting features jointly developed by I-many and Premier.
