Certified Microsoft partner Fulcrum Business Solutions says the greater adoption of toolset technology to support project management is an emerging trend.
"We believe the Microsoft Project 2003 or Microsoft Office Enterprise Project Management (EPM) solution will definitely play a leading role in helping to shape this market in the year to come," says Pieter Erasmus, Fulcrum`s business development director.
Scott Beattie, Microsoft business productivity specialist, expects the Microsoft Project 2003 solution to break new ground in 2004.
"The EPM solution enables organisations to manage projects and resources more effectively and efficiently, collaborate on projects, and analyse and report on projects across the entire organisation."
Beattie says this latest version of the integrated suite of Microsoft project management, database and collaboration applications provides all the features needed to enhance project-based work. He says this product is aimed at any organisation that manages its activities and processes as projects.
"By being able to plan and track projects more effectively with better clarity and precision, the solution gives the organisation the ability to respond with greater agility to the demands of the ever-changing business environment."
