Cape Town, 21 Jul 2014

International business process management specialist and best-selling author, Roger Burlton is returning to South Africa this September. Delegates are encouraged to book their seats early on Burlton's highly popular and practical two-day seminar Business Process Innovation: Process Analysis, Modelling & Design. The course delivers the foundational skills and techniques required to improve existing processes and identifies opportunities for process change to enhance business performance. The course commences on 18 September in Johannesburg and 22 September in Cape Town.

The course provides a comprehensive introduction to the skills and techniques used in analysing business processes and redesigning or improving processes.

Suitable candidates include business and IT architects, business analysts, process automation developers, requirements specialists, project managers, HR competency professionals, change agents and designers involved in process-managed organisations and process-based change.

Participants will learn to scope specific processes using visual models to document results and how to define measurement techniques for evaluating outcomes. Delegates will also learn how to model As-is and to-be process workflows using industry standard notations and templates. The class is case-study based with attendees working in teams along with the instructor. The approach is practical and business oriented and attendees will be able to immediately apply what they learn within their own organisation

Burlton is founder and Chief Consultant at BPTrends Associates and is regarded globally as a thought leader, author and dynamic practitioner in the business process management discipline. He is also a guest speaker at this year's Business Analysis Summit Southern Africa Conference (BASSA2014).

"FTI is very proud to announce our association with Roger Burlton," says Steve Erlank, CEO of FTI. Burlton is widely respected as a thought leader in business process management who brings reason, clarity and practicality to ways of managing complex enterprise-wide business process change," says Erlank.
