Cisco makes a priority
Networking and information technology giant, Cisco, expects a bigger share of business from education and manufacturing sectors and is in the process of customising new solutions for its clients, says Business Standard.
So far, banking and financial services have been Cisco's main revenue drivers.
“Manufacturing in the East will become a bigger sector in the next three years especially from iron and steel companies setting up projects here,” said Amit Malik, Cisco VP for the East.

Some of the features included are Knowledge Repository, which provides a central location for storing and accessing data for collaborative content creation; and Idea Management, which captures, evaluates and implements employee ideas for improved decision-making.
