Comztek has announced the appointment of Alex van Zyl to the position: Channel Manager of gateprotect, based in Cape Town and reporting to Cape Regional Director, Ian Duvenage, and Group Hardware Manager, Tiens Lange.

The value-added distributor's appointment of a dedicated channel manager for gateprotect goes hand in glove with the recent conclusion of a distribution agreement between Comztek and German IT security specialist, gateprotect.

Van Zyl brings to his new position work experience gained both locally and abroad, in the US, in the IT, construction and manufacturing industries, with particular expertise in sales, logistics and business development.
