Content management alliance formed

Lionbridge Technologies has formed a Content Management System (CMS) Alliance Programme, an ecosystem of CMS providers and system integrators who are committed to simplifying global content management and publishing, says CNNMoney.

In forming the CMS Alliance Programme, Lionbridge has established alliances and connections with an initial group of CMS providers, including Ektron, CrownPeak, Interwoven, Acumium, and Vasont

Now, companies who deliver global content are able to have translation workflow embedded directly into their CMS systems without licensing, deploying, or integrating new GMS software.

Texas selects IBM

A new enterprise content management system from IBM has been selected by Texas County and District Retirement System (TCDRS), according to Trading Markets.

The systems will bring millions of records online and provide pension fund members and customer service representatives with real-time access to pension and retirement information.

The new enterprise content management system is built on IBM FileNet P8 content management software and will serve as the basis for a new advanced retirement system architecture, to improve services for customers and boost operational efficiency.
