Content management, software combine
IBM has unveiled an integrated approach to managing enterprise content with software that helps customers control and derive value from all types of content created and shared by workgroups across an organisation, says CNN Money.
IBM's new Business Content Services strategy helps businesses of all sizes to tackle the explosive growth of content, including business documents created individually and collaboratively across diverse, and often global, workgroups.
AMEC Paragon, the oil, gas and pipeline subsidiary of AMEC, an international engineering and project management company, relies on IBM enterprise content management offerings to improve management of its project document lifecycle.
Content management helps Gallatin win
The document and process management capabilities of Hyland Software's OnBase helped Gallatin Steel to achieve a number one ranking in the service category of the Jacobson Steel Customer Satisfaction Survey, says News Blaze.
This survey of customers of steel producers stands as an objective measure of steel customers' satisfaction with suppliers.
"OnBase sets us apart from our competition by enabling our associates to interact with customers quickly and effectively," said Arlyn Richards, manager of information systems at Gallatin Steel.
