Corel Corporation announced a special preview of the company`s upcoming Tablet PC application, Corel Grafigo was demonstrated at Seybold SF.
The concept design for Corel Grafigo was first introduced as a prototype at TECHX in New York on June 25, 2002 and has since developed into a fully-functional beta application that was available to preview for the first time at Seybold. Corel Grafigo is a software application designed specifically for Microsoft Windows XP Professional Tablet PC Edition. Corel is a Microsoft Tablet PC ISV and will deliver a Tablet PC application simultaneously with the release of Microsoft`s Tablet PC operating system.

Corel Grafigo brings together tools for graphics and collaboration into an easy-to-use, common interface. The application is designed specifically for knowledge workers in an enterprise setting who conduct most of their day-to-day functions away from their desktops. Corel Grafigo enables mobile knowledge workers to quickly collaborate and communicate their ideas with colleagues through the use of sketching and annotation tools, symbol libraries, shape recognition and hand writing technologies. Built for pen-based computing, this application delivers a user interface that is easy to navigate without the use of a mouse or keyboard.

Designed to support and encourage the adoption of the Tablet PC, Corel Grafigo is a flexible and extendable application written completely in the C# language using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. This new application is the result of Corel`s strategy to capture the graphical workflows of mobile knowledge workers - future emphasis will be placed on creating tools for customers in key vertical markets.
