Incentives are always a good motivation for Cyberoam's partners, says Adrian Anema, country manager, SA Cyberoam.

Network appliances provider Cyberoam has unveiled a rebate programme for its in SA.

The rebate works on the structure defined under the Cyberoam Partner Programme which classifies the community into four categories - authorised partners, silver partners, gold partners and platinum partners.

This rebate is made available for gold and platinum partners. Though the targets for platinum and gold partners are different, they will get the same rebate on achieving their targets. The rebate is on top of other incentives partners get under the Cyberoam Partner Programme, the company says.

"The partner community at Cyberoam contributes in different capacities, with some specialising in the SMB segment while others have expertise in the enterprise and MSSP [managed security service provider] business," says Adrian Anema, country manager, SA Cyberoam.

"This ensures all players get maximum opportunities for growth. To make sure partners are able to meet their targets and set bigger ones, each year Cyberoam announces several incentives. Such benefits are rarely seen in our business, and give us a unique differentiation over the market."

To claim the rebate, Cyberoam partners need to login to the Cyberoam Partner Portal and upload their invoices. On approval of the rebate application, reward points will be credited to the partner's account, which will also be communicated by a confirmation mail.

Anema says incentives are always a good motivation for the vendor's partners. "Through our year-long partner programme, we launch such offers regularly. Talking about this particular incentive programme, it has been rolled out to motivate partners at all levels; according to the business they bring in."

He explains that Cyberoam is a 100% channel-oriented company. "All our business in South Africa comes through the channel. We never sell directly to end customers."

He says security is an ever-changing industry and partners need to be trained and updated regularly. "We understand this challenge and hence are investing heavily in training. We believe that with proper training, the channel will be able to maximise its productivity.

"South Africa has always been a prime focus for us. There are many such exciting offers in the pipeline for our end customers and partners in the region," he concludes.
