Duxbury Networking has been appointed a distributor for 2N, a Czech Republic-based telecommunications solutions vendor.

Operating worldwide, 2N products are sold in more than 125 countries. Its portfolio includes Internet protocol communications offerings ranging from mobile voice solutions to leased line replacement options.

According to Andy Robb, CTO at Duxbury Networking, 2N offerings will be targeted at a broad market spectrum in SA - from SOHO and SME users, to enterprises in the public and private sectors.

"At Duxbury, we recommend using voice over IP as part of a unified communications solution to streamline the way employees, clients and suppliers connect with one another," says Robb. "Similarly, we highlight the many advantages - in terms of cost and network performance - of employing high-capacity wireless links to replace fibre or ageing copper-based leased lines."

He believes 2N solutions can be applied to almost any sized organisation - from small companies all the way through to enterprises with 20 000 or more employees.

"Moreover, 2N systems can be added to, or complemented by, other Duxbury offerings, allowing users to stay abreast of their communication requirements as their organisations change focus or expand," adds Robb. "These solutions also encourage the development of new business opportunities and marketing innovations for Duxbury-accredited dealers and resellers."
