Duxbury launches Netgear RangeMax Next product range

Duxbury Networking has announced the launch of Netgear's Next range of 11n-compliant wireless networking products.
Johannesburg, 10 Nov 2006

The Netgear RangeMax Next range of wireless networking products is now available in South Africa from Duxbury Networking. These products are based on the draft 802.11n specification for the next generation of wireless networking, offering better range and considerably higher data transfer rates in wireless networking than ever before.

Based on InteNsi-fi technology, the Next range of products is designed to support the growing variety of advanced, bandwidth-intensive applications, such as high-definition video streaming and IP telephony. The RangeMax Next range is designed to deliver superior performance and robust wireless connectivity throughout the network environment.

RangeMax Next products are capable of data transfer speeds of up to 300 megabits per second, while remaining backwards compatible with 802.11 a, b and g devices.

A number of exciting products have been launched in the range to take care of all aspects of networking.

The Netgear DG834N RangeMax Next Wireless ADSL2+ Modem and Router delivers a complete and secure network solution, combining a draft 11n-compliant wireless access point with an ADSL2+ modem, router, 10/100 network switch and SPI Double Firewall.

For users who do not require an ADSL modem, the Netgear WNR834B RangeMax Next Wireless Router with 10/100 Ethernet switch provides all of the benefits of the DG834N but without the ADSL modem.

Duxbury Networking will also provide the Netgear WN511B RangeMax Next Wireless Notebook Adapter, enabling all of the benefits of Next networking for laptop devices.

Similar devices are also available with support for gigabit (10/100/1000) Ethernet networking.

"The launch of the RangeMax Next range in South Africa is part of Duxbury Networking's ongoing commitment to catering for the growing demands of networking customers," says managing director Graham Duxbury. "Modern networks require faster speeds, greater reliability and further range - all this and more is offered by this exciting range of Netgear products, now available in South Africa."
