Further demonstrating Duxbury Networking`s inherent strength as a specialist networking solutions distributor, the company`s chief technology officer, Graham Vorster is one of a handful of people who recently received 3Com`s Star technologist award for the EMEA region.
This accolade was presented to Vorster at 3Com`s annual 3Com University Live! Technology Overview held in Frankfurt, Germany.
Significantly, the award follows shortly after Duxbury`s appointment as a distributor for 3Com`s range of enterprise networking products for southern Africa. The company is the official distributor for Huawei Technologies, which formed a joint venture (JV) with 3Com earlier this year.
"We are delighted with the award, which is indeed indicative of the depth of technical expertise - particularly Graham Vorster`s - in the enterprise product arena that resides at Duxbury," says Graham Duxbury, managing director of Duxbury Networking.
"It also demonstrates that we can offer the channel 3Com expertise that is only rarely equalled by our counterparts in the rest of the EMEA region.
Vorster received the "technologist" award following three days of intensive sessions on 3Com`s technologies and a stringent evaluation process.
