Listed IT group EOH has created a division to take advantage of growing demand for applications in business use.
EOH Global Application Solutions, launched this month, incorporates HP software platinum partner, EOH Gallium, as well as the recently launched EOH Global Testing Solutions, and two new business units; EOH Global Monitoring Services and EOH Governance Process Automation.
The new division offers solutions such as application testing, application monitoring, software testing, as well as business governance issues, such as whether applications are providing a return on investment, explains divisional director Haydn Pinnell.
EOH will use the new unit to grow into Europe and Africa, as it expects demand for this type of service to grow exponentially, notes Pinnell. “Companies want to get money out of applications.”
Pinnell says not all these solutions are new to EOH, but the recently created unit combines the company's testing and application expertise into a focused entity. He says the application division has grown EOH's solutions set based on experience, lessons that have been learnt and best practices.
The new division focuses on providing end-to-end application testing, monitoring and governance services and solutions. “EOH Global Application Solutions addresses the most important areas of any organisation: its applications, processes, technology, objectives and priorities,” explains Pinnell.
