Epson users go online
Epson America revealed EpsonPrinter.com, an online resource designed specifically for businesses that use Epson Stylus Pro x880 series or the Stylus Pro GS6000 printer, reports Marketwatch.
myEpsonPrinter.com is a secure Web site that enables printer owners to automatically track consumable usage, print job information, detailed hardware information and much more.
The Web site will allow print shops to use its secure portal to better understand and control overall printing expenses.
Canon unveils imageClass
Canon introduced the imageClass MF8450c laser multifunction printer, bringing duplex versatility with two-sided copying, printing, faxing and scanning in one machine to smaller offices, reports Huliq.
The imageClass offers black-and-white and colour laser printing at the same speed of up to 17 pages-per-minute and copying output at 17 copies-per-minute
The printer also comes with a built-in Ethernet port for networking, and a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface.
Brother releases inkjet range
Brother unveiled its Professional Series line of colour inkjet all-in-one units with built-in networking capabilities, reports Cnw.
The series is designed for small business users and consists of three models: the network-ready MFC 5490CN and MFC 5890CN and the wireless network MFC 6490CW.
In addition to traditional business functions, the new series offers tools such as the ability to print, copy, scan and fax up to the ledger 11-inch by 17-inch size.
