Fast Company reports.
The pair have created a Web-based project management tool, Asana, that functions like a real-time to-do list. Anyone can add a task. Everyone can see what needs to be done. And anyone can grab a task and start working on it.
Asana operates on a freemium business model. Teams of up to 30 people can use the service at no charge. At the end of April, the company released Premium Workspaces, which charges teams numbering up to 50 people $300 a month, with higher-priced tiers for larger teams.
According to International Business Times, Moskovitz described Asana's core functions as providing the solution for a 'meta-problem'.
Asana, Moskovitz said, will give people the liberty they need to enjoy the responsibilities currently at their hands, as he stressed that "too much time at work is spent doing work about work".
Daily Disruption says Asana is a software application designed to improve the way people collaborate in groups and manage projects. Asana organises workflow within a news-feed-like layout. It is powered by Luna, a JavaScript-based Web framework developed by the company.
